Solving
iAnywhere is proud to present a “for developers, by developers” webcast led by Breck Carter, principal consultant of RisingRoad Professional Services, and Walt Tallman, consultant for EDO Professional Services, system architect and development lead for the North Carolina Department of Transportation Bridge Inspection Application. The session will provide details and lessons learned from the development of a mobile database synchronization solution for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). The application, used by 60 inspectors responsible for more than 19,000 bridges, is designed to push data form the office out into the field, save costs as well as satisfy a federal government mandate to capture bridge inspection data electronically. Mr. Carter, who built the synchronization solution using SQL Anywhere’s database and MobiLink technologies, will offer valuable advice from years of hands-on experience, covering key areas that are typical of mobile computing today. Mr. Carter and Mr. Tallman will answer online chat questions throughout the presentation and will offer an audio Q&A at the end of the session.
