The Sybase Users’ Group of Texas will not hold their July meeting, but would like everyone to try to make plans to attend Techwave in Las Vegas on August 21-25.  There is still time to register for the pre-conference sessions and attend some really great technical seminars during the week.  SUG-TX’s President, Don Clayton will be presenting "Best Practices in Object-Oriented Modeling with PowerDesigner" (DEV425).   Take this opportunity to schedule your attendance to this breakout session that you will not want to miss.

*** The job market for Sybase experienced talent (ie: ASE, PB, etc) is heating up.  Intertech is looking for qualified candidates to respond to these opportunities.  If you are interested, please as soon as possible.

2) Next SUG-TX Meeting – August 30th

The Sybase Users’ Group of Texas (SUG-TX) will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, August 30th  with a Techwave 2005 Update.  We will have a re-cap of the exciting news and information that we learned at Techwave.  Make sure and mark your calendar because of the change in date.  The meeting date is one week later because of the conference.

The meetings are held at HAL-PC, 4543 Post Oak Place, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77027 (map), from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.  Members frequently continue discussions at Champps Sports Bar afterwards.
