1) June 28th SUG-TX Meeting

 

The Sybase Users’ Group of Texas (SUG-TX) will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, June 28th.  The presentation topic will be “Easy XML Documents with PowerBuilder Document Object Model.”  The presentation was first presented as part of the monthly ISUG Techcast series.  Peer-level discussions on how to apply this and other PB techniques as well will be held after the presentation.

2) Next SUG-TX Meeting – July 26th

3) Sybase Customers and Partners Recognized at Annual 21st Century Achievement

     Awards Celebration of IT Innovation

 

DUBLIN, Calif. – June 7, 2005 – Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and wireless software, today announced that nine of its technology partners and customers have been named finalists for 2005 Computerworld Honors and three of these organizations have won in the 21st Century Achievement award.  These customers have been selected as most outstanding by a panel of distinguished judges and given special recognition at the ceremony in Washington D.C. for their exemplary contributions to society through technology.

 

The forty-eight finalists, in 10 categories, were selected by judges from the 162 laureates whose case studies became a part of the prestigious Computerworld Honors Collection in April 2005.  One worldwide finalist from each field was selected for a 21st Century Achievement Award.  Among these finalists, 10 honorees were announced and the Sybase’s finalists that were chosen as honorees in their field include: Broward County Environment Protection Department, Florida, European Southern Observatory, Germany, and Sprint, Overland Park, Kansas.

5) iAnywhere Launches Beta Of New AvantGo Travel Service
