1) SUG-TX March 22nd Meeting

The next SUG-TX meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd. Dave Fink and Bryan Roberts will review and demonstrate the latest release of the DataWindow .Net product from Sybase, version 1.5 beta. With the release of 1.5, Sybase will expand the DataWindow .Net feature set to provide developers with DataWindows & DataStores to use with .NET Web Forms, in addition to Windows Forms.

Imagine the possibilities of using the DataWindow (technology so powerful it is patented) in one of the greatest development environments on the best development platform from the biggest software company. Consider the savings when porting your PowerBuilder projects to .Net and being able to use your existing DataWindow objects. If you want to expand your development skills to include .Net, then the Sybase DataWindow .Net can make you more productive, more confident and more capable in less time.

In November 2004, Dave and Bryan presented the version 1 DataWindow .Net to the Houston .Net Users' Group (http://hdnug.org/hdnug/pastevents.aspx#Event36). This presentation will be a much more detailed, fact-pact demonstration of the latest beta release. So be sure not to miss this exciting and informative presentation!

Note: Intertech Consulting has been tapped to be the first company in the U.S. to deliver DataWindow .Net training in Syberspace (Sybase's on-line learning facility).
