1) Next SUG-TX Meeting – March 27, 2007

 

The Sybase Users' Group of Texas will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 2007.   The presentation will be on the Sybase Data Integration Suite, a techcast presented by ISUG.  The Sybase Data Integration Suite offers a smarter, more streamlined approach to delivering diverse data throughout the enterprise with comprehensive data integration capabilities including data federation, replication, and ETL capabilities along with integrated modeling and development tools.  Bill Jacobs and Bill Zhang, Sybase Data Integration Suite experts, discuss ways you can efficiently integrate data to simplify reporting, warehouse augmentation and application development projects while enhancing the value of your existing data assets.

The meetings are held at HAL-PC, 4543 Post Oak Place, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77027 (map).  Members frequently continue discussions at Champps Sports Bar after the meeting while waiting for traffic to subside.

 

 

2) TechWave 2007 Call for Papers Extended to March 30th

 

Sybase is now accepting proposals for conference presenters at TechWave 2007.  If you've solved a unique business or technical challenge utilizing Sybase products, Sybase would like you to tell the thousands of TechWave 2007 attendees about it.  Submit an application by Friday, March 30, for a chance to showcase your solution and possibly attend TechWave, Aug. 6-10, for free.
