1) SUG-TX May 24th Meeting Cancelled

 

The Sybase Users' Group of Texas (SUG-TX) will not hold a meeting on Tuesday, May 24th due to scheduling conflicts.  The next meeting will be on June 28th.

 

 

2) Next SUG-TX Meeting - June 28th

 

The Sybase Users' Group of Texas (SUG-TX) will hold their next meeting on Tuesday June 28th.  The presentation topic will be announced soon.  The meetings are held at HAL-PC, 4543 Post Oak Place, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77027 (map), from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.  Members frequently continue discussions at Champps Sports Bar after the meeting while waiting for traffic to subside.

 

 

3) Sybase Expands Unwired Enterprise Solutions Portfolio with Unstructured Data Management Investment

 

DUBLIN, Calif. - May 9, 2005 - Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, today announced it has expanded its Unwired Enterprise solutions with the acquisition of ISDD Ltd., a privately held provider of unstructured data management solutions. ISDD helps companies in data intensive industries to query and analyze their structured and unstructured data from both fixed and mobile sources. Sybase intends to incorporate the unstructured data management technology and solutions into its core products to further expand and differentiate its innovative information management and mobility solutions.

4) Sybase Expands Unwired Enterprise Solutions Portfolio with Data Services Acquisition

Sybase intends to incorporate the technology into its core group of information management solutions.
