The Sybase Users' Group of Texas (SUG-TX) will not hold a meeting
on Tuesday, May 24th due to scheduling conflicts. The next meeting will be on June 28th.

3) Sybase Expands Unwired
DUBLIN, Calif. - May 9, 2005 - Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a
leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, today
announced it has expanded its Unwired Enterprise solutions with the acquisition
of ISDD Ltd., a privately held provider of unstructured data management
solutions. ISDD helps companies in data intensive industries to query and
analyze their structured and unstructured data from both fixed and mobile
sources. Sybase intends to incorporate the unstructured data management
technology and solutions into its core products to further expand and
differentiate its innovative information management and mobility solutions.

technology portfolio with the acquisition of the technology and assets of Avaki Corporation, a market-leading, privately held
provider of enterprise information integration (EII) software. Avaki helps companies in data intensive industries deploy

approaches to data integration. Sybase intends to incorporate the technology
into its core group of information management solutions.
