Chen, chairman, president and CEO of Sybase, Inc. "Our database business
grew 11 percent over last year thanks in part to the release of our new
ASE 12.5.1 database. The 30 percent increase year-over-year in our mobile

Unwired Enterprise initiative is also gaining ground as a growing number

b) Webcast - Achieving Security Through Better Systems Management

   Date: November 4th, 2003
   Time: 1:00 - 2:00pm CST

Join iAnywhere on November 4, from 2:00-3:00 pm ET, to learn how to
address the greatest threat to computing security in the enterprise
today: Vulnerabilities in Windows operating systems and applications.
Using real examples from the past year we will show you how you can
efficiently meet this challenge, secure your enterprise, keep your sanity
and get reacquainted with your family!

Thousands of devices operating outside the firewall and beyond the reach
of traditional systems management have created a largely unrecognized
threat to enterprise security. As more people work from home, in remote
offices or on the road, companies need to realize that user-initiated
configuration changes and out-of-date software on remote machines are
the new "weakest link" in corporate security.

Our informative "Achieving Security through Better Systems Management"
webcast will show you how to cost effectively improve the security and
operational robustness of your computing environment - including remote
and mobile environments - by improving how you manage your desktop,
laptop, and remote computers.
