SUG-TX Sept 22nd Meeting – TechWave Wrap Up
The
Sybase Users’ Group of Texas will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, September
22, 2009. The presentation will be a Wrap Up of the TechWave 2009
Symposium held August 26-27, 2009 in Washington DC. Be sure to
attend to learn more about the information presented on development and
database topics.

Meetings
will not be held in May and November due to proximity to holidays (Memorial Day
and Thanksgiving). The August meeting will be skipped due to the SUG-TX
officers attending the TechWave 2009 Symposium in Washington, DC.
December is the annual holiday party. SUG-TX usually meets on the 4th
Tuesday so add a recurring appointment on your calendar and watch for future
meeting announcements and newsletters for details.

SUG-TX has a new community on the International Sybase User Group
(ISUG) members’ web site as part of its continuing participation as a local
user group under ISUG. As a community, SUG-TX has a calendar, a news
sections, a forum, a file library, and an announcement list. For those
SUG-TX members that are already ISUG members, you can go to the “Community” tab
and sign up for the SUG-TX community’s announcement list. Look under
“North American Regional Communities” and click on “UG – NA – Sybase Users’

You can add the community to your favorites list and make it your default
community.
For those SUG-TX members that are not ISUG members, you
